XO OPTIX Vision Care is an optical boutique located in the heart of Coquitlam. Our mission is to redefine the relationship between people and their eyewear, as well as to bring more appreciation to eyewear as a form of art rather than just a piece of material that we reluctantly wear and don’t love!

We are a small but tight-knit team of opticians, receptionists and sales assistants.

Multi-tasking skills is also very important, as the right candidate should be able to complete multiple small tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
Current shifts available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-7pm. Sunday 10am-5pm.
The right candidate should have flexible availability including weekends, evenings & training days.

Job Description & Competencies
Not required to meet all competencies listed, however, the right candidate is expected to be highly motivated to learn quickly and be willing to pick up new competencies to ensure the best possible customer experience.
Optical Technical Competencies:
Efficiently and effectively demonstrate all essential functions of an Optician (Eyewear dispensing, fitting, adjustments, job ordering, fitting contacts, etc.)
Troubleshoot optical-related issues and handle customer concerns.
Contribute to eyewear sales goals with an emphasis on great customer experience and after-sale care.
Educate and assist patients on frame selections to ensure both their fashion and function needs are met.
Educate and assist patients on lens selections to ensure their visual clarity and comfort needs are met.
Manage patient follow-up's and recalls.
Quickly learn and process paperwork efficiently and effectively.
Keep organized records of patient information on paper and on optical software.
Write and respond to vendors and customers through professional email communications.
