How are you doing?
The lives of every single one of us has faced unprecedented disruptions due to the sudden hit of the Corona Virus pandemic. You may have been feeling anxious and depressed because of everything that’s been going on. Nobody likes sudden changes and disruptions, but you’ve held it up thus far, so please give yourself a pat on the back. Also, please remember that you are not alone. We are here as friends to help each other get through life’s challenges together.
All of us have been trying your very best to keep yourselves and your family and friends safe. The XO team has been doing the same – we’d like to use XO OPTIX as a platform share resources and assistance to all of you.
Taking remote/online orders and one-on-one appointments only:
As most of you had already known, we here at XO OPTIX have always encouraged our customers to book appointments before coming to see us. Our appointment-booking system had proven to be very useful especially during this pandemic.
Since last week, we have closed the shop for walk-in’s and will only be taking one-on-one appointments until further notice. This temporary measure is set in place to increase social-distancing compliance in order to help slow down the spread of the virus.
With that being said, remember that we are still taking remote orders phone and online, as well as performing one-on-one services to ensure your vision needs are not compromised. For instance, if you are almost running out of contact lenses, we are only a message or email way. Feel free to contact us to refill your order.

A safe and sanitized environment when you shop:
Health and wellness has always been a priority at XO OPTIX. Due to the pandemic, we are happy to see that our previous investments and attention to sanitization to give our customers the best in-store environment have now proven to be very important and effective. For example, we have already been using a Medical Grade HEPA and Activated Carbon air purifier to keep our air free of airborne contaminants. Right now, we are enforcing even stricter disinfecting protocols before and after each customer visits the store. Now, our eyeglasses are disinfected using 360 ° radiation angle germicidal UV lamps overnight so that you can shop with here with peace of mind.
We’re donating safety goggles to frontline healthcare workers:
Now more so than ever, we’d like to be here for our friends and valued customers. So, by popular demand, we have gone through great efforts to make available to you certified safety goggles for both adult and children to help you reduce the possibility of viral droplets in the air from entering your eyes.
In support of health-care workers and other essential service providers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will donate one goggle for every goggle purchased.

Food for the homeless in the Tri-Cities:
As you can see, XO staff have been busy! We prepared more than 50 goodie bags of non-perishable food items for the homeless because most food banks and non-profit organizations are closed due to the pandemic. These people on the streets are in great need of any help we can give.

Finally, the XO Team would like to thank every single one of you for your continuous trust and support. We will continue to do our best to serve you, your family, and our community. Despite facing challenges as a business during this time, we will not give up our mission to make a difference.
